The prefabricated solution for leveling of fresh poured Concrete and the application of joints.

THE COMPONENTS.

1. D.U. Kit ® rail includes P.V.C Liner 4 meters. in length, or as per your individual requirements.
2. 4 pc of bases per unit ( threaded rod length according to the concrete thickness) or as per your individual requirements.
3. 8pc adjustment nuts +8pc retaining springs( two for each base)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mark the lines where the D.U. Kit® should be placed
2. Place the bases under the string, to the desired intervals.
3. Install the adjustment nuts on the threaded rods to the approximate height( with the hexagonal part facing downwards)
4. Place the D.U. Kit ® on top of the nuts. ( The nuts should fit into the smaller (16mm). holes)
5. Insert the retaining springs into the grooves in the upper sides of the nuts.
6. Adjust the placement of the D.U. Kit ® rails according to the where the string is placed.
7. Fasten the bases to the substrate with the pegs placed in the holes. ( In the case of concrete substrate, use HILTI or similar bolts)
8. Adjust the D.U. Kit ® to the desired height, using the special key supplied. ( It is recommended to turn both nuts, on each base, concurrently)
9. When all the above elements are set- it is possible to proceed with the casting!

NOTE.

In the instance where an upper reinforcing mesh is used, the following options are suggested.

1. Place the mesh between the rails.(Recommended).
2. Install a continuous reinforcing mesh. This should be carried out before stage 4 and only if a contraction joint is not required.
